For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving in the USA I wish you a lovely day of good food, family and fun. And let's all say a little prayer of gratitude for our blessings.
I am linking the card I made to the Simon Wednesday challenge blog. This is the second card I made for the theme of "use Heather's sketch". In my last post I made a Christmas card.
Here's the sketch:
I'm also going to share a close up of the beautiful teacup in my table setting:
Isn't it just elegant? As you can see it on the table above it's very small. It was gifted to me but unfortunately I don't know anything about it. Here's the mark under the cup and saucer:
I am linking this post to Mandarin Orange Monday; Inspiration Avenue (the weekly art challenge this week is Gratitude Show and Tell); Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; T Stands For Tuesday; and Teacup Tuesday.
Have a beautiful week.

Hi Linda: I am so glad you could join Tea Cup Tuesday today. Love your elegant tea cup. I am your newest follower. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning vignette. I was impressed at how well all the elements, including your lovely Thanksgiving card, worked together. And that cup is gorgeous. I remember a few years ago, I was at the library and found a book on marks on cups, saucers, etc. The most impressive ones were hand stamped, as I'm sure yours is. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining T today. And I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too.
WOW! a beautiful cup. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. The card is beautiful! I'm glad you joined our challenge at Inspiration Avenue this week. Have a wonderful holiday.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used the SS sketch in your Thanksgiving Day card. Have a blessed Thanksgiving day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely teacup. It must make you feel very special to sip your tea from it. Your Thanksgiving card is really nice. Hope you day is as well.

I love that card and also the still life arrangement you made. Very warm and welcoming. Thank you for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
ReplyDeleteAlthough we don't have thanksgiving or black Friday I agree with you that it's a shame it seems to be becoming a bigger deal than thanksgiving itself. Your grace painting turned out wonderfully with the butterfly - it really does look like it was just meant to be sitting on her shoulder like that!! Your card is beautiful as is the lovely composition you made up to take the photo with - it looks so warm and welcoming!
