these are fabulous pieces! that quite about laughing at yourself is the story of my life -- i am always AMUSED! thanks for sharing these wonderful pieces. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's been a crazy awesome week in your world, and your art is as diverse as the weather. It's been cold and a bit warm, but no moisture here. Looks like we might get a bit of rain for the first time this year, which will help the cracks in the ground.
ReplyDeleteThose tags are both so different, yet so lovely. Both are gems. I'm in awe of the birthday card and see how much I need a die cutter and dies. You make wonderful art.
Of course, I'm genuinely impressed with your beautiful bird you created for Art Journal Journey. The quote is wonderful and seems really appropriate, too. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey.
That leads to your middle eastern restaurant visit with your husband and his Turkish coffee and baklava. They both sound wonderful and I'm sure he enjoyed the coffee. I actually found Turkish coffee to be a bit strong even for ME, the girl who likes coffee that curls your hair. Thanks for sharing your art, your AJJ entry, and your Turkish coffee and baklava with us for T this Tuesday.
Beautiful art Linda..... I especially love the journal page and the sweet bird.
ReplyDeleteWhat strange weather.... such contrasts ....
Hope you don't get caught in a snow storm with your flip flops on;)
Karen x
I LOVE those wonderful tags, they are both gorgeous, and thanks so much for joining us at Tag Tuesday and TIOT, much appreciated. The weather is crazy all over the world just now, it's very cold here and we are expecting Siberian cold to blow over to us in a few days, brrr! Coffee and baclava look good! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

oxo Susi
We got your snow Sat. night into Sunday. :-D Temps have warmed up and most of the snow is gone. I'm looking forward to the high 60s predicted for Wed. but not for more snow on Thurs. Very crazy weather. Your tags and cards are wonderful. I especially love the bird quote on the journal page. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous creations Linda! I love the floral card, it's so pretty and feminine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Your flipflops and boots weather made me smile ....lol 😉. I'm loving your art today especially your grungy vintage tag! The little bird is so cute too 😁. Happy T Day and thanks so much for joining us at Try it on Tuesday! J 😊
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful art pieces. And I love those quotes too. Where do you get them!
ReplyDeleteDid your hubby enjoy his Turkish coffee? I suppose it is an acquitçred taste. I have had Turkish coffee (in Turkey of course) and it takes a bit of getting used to leaving the coffee granules to sink to the bottom before you drink. And not to forget to put the sugar in before you do that otherwise you have to stir the sugar in and wait again, by which time the coffee is cold! You can probaly tell I am telling you this from experience...
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Your weather is wilder than ours! We're getting ups and down in temps but no snow and not as cold as you're getting. I love the "laugh at themselves" quote :) I've eaten in a middle eastern restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed it. I'll look forward to more photos. Your husband's coffee cup is lovely. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteWeather sounds similar to New England ~ Lots of wonderfully creative art here! Favorite is the little bird journal page and sweet hubby enjoying life! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the quote too!

ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous art here today! I love the birdie on your journal page and of course your flower card! The tag for Vintage at TIOT is brilliant, so pleased you joined us with gorgeous tag! The weather sounds dreadful - far worse than the 'bad weather on it's way forecast we are getting in Europe' Hubby looks happy with coffee and pastry! Finally I am still smiling at your Dina tag! ReplyDeleteI love your little chickadee, Linda, as well as the quote you added on the journal page. The image of flip flops next to winter boots made me smile. At least that 6" of snow won't hang around for long. Both tags are wonderful!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous quote and fantastic artwork Linda.
We are currently looking like we're heading into spring, but the forecast for the next week or so is for snow and minus temperatures once again.
The poor birds and wildlife will be so confused.
Happy PPF to you :D
Happy PPF Linda. Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie

Such variety in your artwork this week Linda! Love your tags, and the elegant card, but my favorite this week is the journal page. Love the "tweet chirp" and the composition :-) It is unusually cold here too, next week they predict even colder weather. I've had it with winter this year, spring cannot come soon enough!

ReplyDeleteLove your little birdie :) I saw a similar one yesterday sitting on a roof :) A great page.
ReplyDeleteI feel in love when you said "keeping the flip flops next to the boots"...I need to do an art journal page and use that sentiment! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteFabulous projects, the scribbly bird is so fun and love the gorgeous grungy tag, and the sentiment is perfect. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Hugs, Sandra
ReplyDeleteI love the versatility you have, Linda. The quotes are such fun and add to your beautiful art pieces. So interesting all the different supplies that you use. It really shows that the finished products took a lot of work, thought...and the original purchases of supplies can be costly. It also helps to know how these wonderful cards and tags are made.
ReplyDeleteAll are so pretty and charming! Great compositions!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post. I came for the little boy on the SSSmchallenge. I am thinking I am going to get some of those paper dolls and use on my genealogy projects in the future. One would have been perfect on my challenge project. Next time!
